Michel Barbier pitcher
Sleek pitcher in Barbier’s grey and blue hues with beautiful examples of his birds and vegetal motifs.
Part of the Geneva School: student of Philippe Lamberci. He never had a personal workshop, and worked mainly for Gustave Raynaud at “Le Mûrier” Pottery. His decorations for this workshop are recognizable by their beige-gray background, a design of stylized flowers, or extraordinary animals, and blue or copper red enamels. In addition, his current personal production is signed by a bird, and his artistic production gives pieces of great power.
