André l’Helguen candle holder
Beautiful example of Helguen’s creativity for Keraluc Manufacture (Quimper - Brittany) with floral polychrome decor.
In 1946, ceramics engineer Victor Lucas created Keraluc manufacture near Quimper. During the 1950's and 60's the output was innovative and highly successful, he attracted a group of young regional artists and provided workshop space and the necessary materials for their artistic creations. Some of the most prominent included Paul Yvain, Pierre Toulhoaand, René Quéré, Jos Le Corre and André l’Helguen.
