Olle Alberius lamp

Olle Alberius was a Swedish ceramicist, designer, and glass artist. He was born in southern Sweden and educated at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. From 1957 - 1965, he worked as a designer at Syco Keramik in Stromstad. In 1963 he began a collaboration with Rörstrand Porcelain Factory, designing tableware, lamps, vases and other decorative objects. In 1971, he worked exclusively for Orrefors Glassworks using the traditional Orrefors glass-blowing techniques. His work is in the permanent collections of many important museums, including the National Museum of Sweden in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden.
