Gerd Hiort Petersen lamp

€ 450 EUR

Stunning table lamp by Gerd Hiort Petersen. The lamp has a unique, modernist form, characterized by a square base that tapers slightly upwards, forming a sturdy, geometric structure. The surface of the lamp features intricate, hand-drawn abstract patterns in earthy tones of brown and gold, giving it an organic and artistic look.

Gerd Hiort Petersen was born in 1937 on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. Bornholm has also been home to the Soholm Ceramic Factory since its inception in 1835. Gerd Petersen began her ceramic instruction on the island and then attended Copenhagen's Arts and Crafts/Design School.
She has exhibited her work all over the world and is a member of the International Academic de Ceramique, or IAC.
